How do I become a Member of the Exchange?

Application materials are available by emailing membership@txse.com. Applicants may contact the Exchange’s market operations team with questions or requests for support.

Will the Exchange offer a waive-in process?

Yes, the Exchange offers a streamlined waive-in process for members of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Further details are available on our Membership application.

Is membership in FINRA required for TXSE Membership?

No, the Exchange does not require firms to be Members of FINRA in order to apply for Membership.

Connect to TXSE’s data center in NY4, NY5, NY6

Members can connect to the Exchange through a point-to-point cable link (cross-connect) at Equinix NY4, NY5, NY6 data centers or a PoP site in the CH2 data center. Alternatively, members may use an extranet provider or an approved service bureau.

Prerequisites to participate in TXSE’s QA Environment

No prerequisites are required beyond an intent to join as a member. TXSE will soon launch a Pre-UAT “Sandbox” Environment for early integration and certification preparation, with certification testing starting in October. The Sandbox is not yet live, but interested parties should contact TXSE Market Operations at tradingoperations@txse.com to register for early access and receive updates on its availability. Industry-wide production testing is slated to begin with weekend sessions in October, continuing monthly through the February launch.

What is TXSE's RAKE TCP?

RAKE TCP is a TCP- based protocol that ensures reliable, in-order delivery of Exchange messages, while Member messages are sent without delivery guarantees. Higher-level protocols handle uniqueness, and most servers process one Member message at a time.
