TXSE will conduct an industry-wide test on Saturday, June 6, 2026, providing participants with the opportunity to perform end-to-end validation of TXSE trading workflows with both DTCC post-trade processing and FINRA CAT reporting.

This coordinated industry test provides firms with an opportunity to validate critical operational workflows ahead of launch, including clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and CAT reporting associated with TXSE orders and executions.

Participants are strongly encouraged to take part in the June 6 test to confirm internal workflows, reporting configurations, and processing logic across critical post-trade and regulatory reporting systems ahead of our July launch.

DTCC UTC Support

National Securities Clearing Corporation (“NSCC”) will support TXSE industry testing within the Universal Trade Capture (“UTC”) application in the Participant Services Environment (“PSE”). UTC will accept the input of TXSE test trades and provide participants with customary UTC output reporting associated with the test activity.

TXSE will submit production trades executed during the Saturday, June 6, 2026 industry test to the DTCC PSE on Monday, June 8, 2026, to facilitate end-to-end participant testing and output verification.

TXSE executions will be identified in UTC output reporting using the applicable TXSE market identifier. Additional technical specifications and testing details will be communicated separately, as applicable.

The Texas Stock Exchange market code will be ‘165’ in UTC output (FIX tag 30, MRO position 58-60). This is the market code that will also be reported on the Consolidated Trade Summary (CTS). All equity trades will be reported with the Contra Clearing Firm number of 8602 and Contra Executing Broker (MPID) “ANON” in support of post trade anonymity.

Contract Field Reported Values
Contra Clearing Firm UTC MRO: position 280-287 UTC Messages: Tag 448, party role 18 ANON
Contra Executing Firm UTC MRO: position 288-295 UTC Messages: Tag 448, party role 37 ANON
Contra Introducing Firm UTC MRO: position 296-303 UTC Messages: Tag 448, party role 17 ANON
Contra Badge ID UTC MRO: position 304-311 UTC Messages: Tag 448, party role 12 ANON

All equity trades will be reported in support of post-trade anonymity conventions applicable to TXSE testing scenarios.

Participants are encouraged to validate:

  • trade capture processing,
  • clearing workflows,
  • downstream reconciliation,
  • settlement processing, and
  • DTCC output reporting associated with TXSE executions.

FINRA CAT Reporting Considerations

Members should ensure that orders submitted to TXSE during industry testing are properly reflected in CAT submissions and related supervisory workflows. Submissions will be assigned to trade date June 8th and must be submitted by 8am on June 9th.

Participants are encouraged to validate:

  • exchange and market center handling,
  • routing and execution destination mapping,
  • CAT linkage integrity,
  • timestamp handling,
  • downstream surveillance processing, and
  • any venue-specific reporting logic associated with TXSE executions.

Participant Testing

Participants are encouraged to submit test orders and trades to the TXSE production environment to verify end-to-end operational processing.
